Bristol, United Kingdom – Carlos Campos, COO of Suez Advanced Solutions, has cut the ribbon to the new Ice Pigging Lab where products will be rigorously tested to meet the hygienic demands for industrial process companies and FMCG manufacturers. Testing is currently underway for major multi-national manufacturers that will see increased savings in product recovery, water & energy use and a reduction in effluent to increase overall production efficiency as well as environmental performance.
What does this mean for customers?
"FMCG companies around the world are getting in touch to learn more about the Ice Pigging process for their specific requirements. This testing laboratory will ensure that all enquiries and trials will be carried out faster, for a lower or zero cost and with more sophisticated analysis", says Martin Herbert, Ice Pigging Test Centre Manager
What infrastructure does the lab have in place to test?
The lab is fully equipped with specialist safety and quality materials to mimic the high standards of consumer production facilities that we see today. Food processing requirements have a number of laws, regulations and codes of practice that the Ice Pigging lab fully adheres to and that was built completely with hygiene in mind.
Business Unit Director for Ice Pigging, Matthew Stephenson, had this to say:
“We see high demand for testing products and demonstrating how Ice Pigging truly works and we are very excited to open our new Ice Pigging test lab for the food and FMCG sector.”
